Ovarian Cancer Diagnostics using Wavelet Packet Scaling Descriptors [PDF]
Detecting early-stage ovarian cancer accurately and efficiently is crucial for timely treatment. Various methods for early diagnosis have been explored, including a focus on features derived from protein mass spectra, but these tend to overlook the complex interplay across protein expression levels.

Feature Selection for Data Integration with Mixed Multi-view Data [PDF]
Data integration methods that analyze multiple sources of data simultaneously can often provide more holistic insights than can separate inquiries of each data source. Motivated by the advantages of data integration in the era of "big data", we investigate feature selection for high-dimensional multi-view data with mixed data types (e.g.

NCCN Guidelines Insights: Ovarian Cancer, Version 1.2019.
Epithelial ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death from gynecologic cancer in the United States, with less than half of patients living >5 years from diagnosis. A major challenge in treating ovarian cancer is that most patients have advanced disease

Benchmarking Histopathology Foundation Models for Ovarian Cancer Bevacizumab Treatment Response Prediction from Whole Slide Images [PDF]
Bevacizumab is a widely studied targeted therapeutic drug used in conjunction with standard chemotherapy for the treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer. While its administration has shown to increase the progression-free survival (PFS) in patients with advanced stage ovarian cancer, the lack of identifiable biomarkers for predicting patient response has

Epigenetic therapy for ovarian cancer: promise and progress
Ovarian cancer is the deadliest gynecologic malignancy, with a 5-year survival rate of approximately 47%, a number that has remained constant over the past two decades.

Minimal residual disease (MRD) leads to cancer relapse and poor survival in ovarian cancer. The lack of representative 3D models limits therapy development. The microfluidics‐based high throughput 3D microtumor platform described here generates clinically‐relevant MRD models. The 3D microtumors recapitulate the molecular signatures of MRD from patients.
