Advanced Science, EarlyView.This study uncovers a spatiotemporal regulation of STING activity by linear ubiquitination in antiviral immunity. At the early stage of the infection, LUBAC promotes STING linear ubiquitination to drive its trafficking from the ER to the Golgi apparatus for activation.
