Precision Matters: Minor Concentration Deviations of DMSO May Cause Major Efficacy Shifts
Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.Low‐concentration dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) has long been regarded as biologically safe in drug discovery. However, increasing DMSO from 0.1% to 0.9% reduces photosensitizer PNA‐9 particle size from 657 nm to 260 nm, enhancing endocytosis and photodynamic therapy outcomes.
