The effects of anti-IL-6 therapy in advanced ovarian cancer [PDF]
PhDIL-6 is a pleiotropic cytokine that has a significant role in inflammatory processes. In relation to ovarian cancer biology there is emerging evidence that it mediates processes relating to tumour growth, invasion, angiogenesis and chemo-resistance ...

Serum anti-Mullerian hormone predicts ovarian response in (Macaca fascicularis) monkeys
AMH as a promising predictor of ovarian response has been studied extensively in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology treatment, but little is known about its prediction value in monkeys undergoing ovarian stimulation.

Mean Ovarian Diameter (MOD) as a Predictor of Poor Ovarian Response [PDF]
To determine the predictive value of mean ovarian diameter of ovarian response in controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH), in outcome with normal FSH level in early follicular phase of menstrual cycle.A prospective study established the prognostic value of the mean ovarian diameter of total 57 cases, including 17 patients undergoing IVF treatment ...

Outcome of ATP-based tumor chemosensitivity assay directed chemotherapy in heavily pre-treated recurrent ovarian carcinoma [PDF]
BACKGROUND: We wished to evaluate the clinical response following ATP-Tumor Chemosensitivity Assay (ATP-TCA) directed salvage chemotherapy in a series of UK patients with advanced ovarian cancer. The results are compared with that of a similar assay used

Ovarian stromal vascularity is not predictive of ovarian response and pregnancy
The role of ovarian stromal vascularity in the prediction of the ovarian response and pregnancy in infertile women was evaluated by comparing age of women, body mass index (BMI), basal FSH concentration, antral follicle count (AFC) and ovarian stromal vascularity indices measured by three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasound.

The impact of endometrioma size on ovarian responsiveness [PDF]
Available evidence shows that the presence of ovarian endometriomas does not interfere with the ovarian response to ovarian stimulation. However, the mean size of the endometriomas in these studies is generally small, and two recent investigations suggested that follicular development could be impaired when focusing on larger endometriomas.
