Design and Vision-Based Calibration of a Five-Axis Precision Dispensing Machine [PDF]

open access: yesMicromachines
Five-axis precision dispensing machines are employed for semiconductor packaging. The dispensing accuracy is significantly affected by multiple geometric errors among the five axes.

Real-Time Multi-Sensor Joint Fault Diagnosis Method for Permanent Magnet Traction Drive Systems Based on Structural Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesSensors
Sensor faults are one of the most common faults that cause performance degradation or functional loss in permanent magnet traction drive systems (PMTDSs).

Experimental Mueller matrix polarimetry with full Poincaré beams and a CCD camera [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2021
Recently, the use of full Poincaré beams for extracting the Mueller matrix of a sample has been proposed. These beams present all possible polarization states across their transverse section.

Exact Solutions to the Oberbeck–Boussinesq Equations for Shear Flows of a Viscous Binary Fluid with Allowance Made for the Soret Effect

open access: yesИзвестия Иркутского государственного университета: Серия "Математика", 2021
The paper considers an exact solution to the equations of thermal diffusion of a viscous incompressible fluid in the Boussinesq approximation with neglect of the Dufour effect for a steady shear flow.

PROLONGATIONS OF GEOMETRIC OVERDETERMINED SYSTEMS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics, 2006
We show that a wide class of geometrically defined overdetermined semilinear partial differential equations may be explicitly prolonged to obtain closed systems. As a consequence, in the case of linear equations we extract sharp bounds on the dimension of the solution space.

Exact Solutions of Navier–Stokes Equations for Quasi-Two-Dimensional Flows with Rayleigh Friction

open access: yesFluids, 2023
To solve the problems of geophysical hydrodynamics, it is necessary to integrally take into account the unevenness of the bottom and the free boundary for a large-scale flow of a viscous incompressible fluid.

Frequency control scheme based on the CDM-PID controller for the hybrid microgrid system with stochastic renewable generators

open access: yesAutomatika, 2023
In this paper, we introduce a Coefficient Diagram Method (CDM) to design a conventional PID controller. This controller is used to decrease the frequency fluctuations of a microgrid system composed of two renewable energy sources (WTG and STPG) and four ...

A Class of Exact Solutions for Two–Dimensional Equations of Geophysical Hydrodynamics with Two Coriolis Parameters

open access: yesИзвестия Иркутского государственного университета: Серия "Математика", 2020
The article proposes a class of exact solutions of the Navier–Stokes equations for a rotating viscous incompressible fluid. This class allows us to describe steady shear inhomogeneous (i.e., depending on several coordinates of the selected Cartesian ...

Using Alternating Minimization and Convexified Carleman Weighted Objective Functional for a Time-Domain Inverse Scattering Problem

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
This paper considers a 1D time-domain inverse scattering problem for the Helmholtz equation in which penetrable scatterers are to be determined from boundary measurements of the scattering data.
