Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1980Abstract Egg masses of females of P. flavedana from the overwintering and first generation were treated with Lannate L to assess ovicidal activity. Lannate L (dilute rate of 0.95 liter/378.5 liter = 2 pt/100 gal) was applied as a 6X concentrate (467.69 liter/ha) with a Swanson truck-mounted airblast sprayer operating at 7.04 kg/cm .

Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1990Abstract A field evaluation of insecticides on cotton for ovicidal and aphicidal activity was conducted at the Auburn University Wiregrass Substation, Headland, AL. Conventionally-tilled cotton was planted in 36-inch rows on 31 May. Thirteen treatments were replicated 4 times in a randomized complete block design.

Insecticide and Acaricide Tests, 1981Abstract Stoneville 213 variety cotton was planted May 2 to Memphis silt loam soil at the Ames Plantation, Grand Junction, TN. Four-row plots, 35 ft long were replicated 4 times in a randomized complete block design. The plot was side-dressed on July 1 with 1.5 lb ai/acre of Temik to encourage a bollworm outbreak.

Acta Universitatis Palackianae Olomucensis Facultatis Medicae, 1991By use of auxotrophic mutants of Penicillium lanosum were prepared the heterokaryonts. From more rapidly growing sectors from heterokaryotic mycelium on minimal medium were isolated 17 diploid strains. They were prototrophic and on the whole they did not differ from the wild strain in their morphology and their growth rate.
