A Decision Making Method for Educational Management Based on Distance Measures || Toma de decisiones en procesos de gestión de la educación basados en las medidas de distancia [PDF]
We develop a new approach for decision making in educational management based on the use of distance measures. We focus on the selection of a studies plan from the perspective of an academic institution.

Some Characterizations of Lattice OWA Operators
Ordered Weighted Averaging (OWA) operators are a family of aggregation functions for data fusion. If the data are real numbers, then OWA operators can be characterized either as a special kind of discrete Choquet integral or simply as an arithmetic mean of the given values previously ordered.

The induced generalized OWA operator [PDF]
We present the induced generalized ordered weighted averaging (IGOWA) operator. It is a new aggregation operator that generalizes the OWA operator by using the main characteristics of two well known aggregation operators: the generalized OWA and the induced OWA operator.

Six CuCN network structures with conjugate acids of N‐alkylethanolamines as guest cations are presented, together with topographical analysis and thermal decomposition studies. Generally, each guest templates a different triperiodic structure, but in one case, two structures with different topologies were obtained from the same guest.

An Application of Ordered Weighted Averaging Operators to Customer Classification in Hotels
An algorithm widely used in hotel companies for demand analysis is the so-called K-means. The aforementioned algorithm is based on the use of the Euclidean distance as a dissimilarity measure and this fact can cause a main handicap.

Implicit Elicitation of Attitudinal Character in the OWA Operator
Ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operators are well recognized as aggregation operators and are successfully applied to real world problems. The OWA operator weights are also known to play an important role in the aggregation, and thus, they heavily ...

False Data Injection Anomaly Detection in Smart Grids: A Multi‐Classifier OWA Data Fusion Approach
ABSTRACT Smart grids open up new opportunities through which a cyber intruder can infiltrate or manipulate data to compromise measurement integrity and state estimation accuracy. Advanced methods for detecting false data injection anomalies will be of great importance to the safety and reliability of power system operations.

An OWA Operator‐Based Cumulative Belief Degrees Approach for Credit Rating
Credit lenders utilize credit rating approaches to provide a classification system for characterizing credit borrowers. In order to measure the borrowers’ credibility, that is, ability and willingness to repay the debt, there are many financial and non ...
