Owa Operators In Generalized Distances

open access: yes, 2009
Different types of aggregation operators such as the ordered weighted quasi-arithmetic mean (Quasi-OWA) operator and the normalized Hamming distance are studied. We introduce the use of the OWA operator in generalized distances such as the quasiarithmetic distance.

Recursive families of OWA operators [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of 1994 IEEE 3rd International Fuzzy Systems Conference, 2002
Introduces an alternative characterization of OWA operators by means of recursive definitions on their dimension. Some mathematical results are provided along with some examples concerning also a characterization of linguistic quantifiers by means of these recursive definitions of OWA operators.

Lattice Stiffening and Delayed Fluorescence in Columnar Liquid‐Crystalline Glasses

open access: yesChemPlusChem, Volume 91, Issue 3, March 2026.
If the substitution pattern is well‐chosen, semiflexible triaryltriazine esters form glassy columnar liquid crystals whose column lattice distinctively shrinks at the glass transition. The presence of columnar liquid‐crystalline order is found to favor delayed fluorescence by triplet–triplet annihilation.

Participatory modelling for poverty alleviation using fuzzy cognitive maps and OWA learning aggregation.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2020
Participatory modelling is an emerging approach in the decision-making process through which stakeholders contribute to the representation of the perceived causal linkages of a complex system.

Recursive Aggregation and Its Fusion Process for Intuitionistic Fuzzy Numbers Based on Non-Additive Measure

open access: yesAxioms, 2022
In this paper, the recursive aggregation of OWA operators for intuitionistic fuzzy numbers (IFN) based on a non-additive measure (NAM) with σ−λ rules is constructed and investigated in light of the σ−λ rules of a non-additive measure (NAM). Additionally,

Equitable Conceptual Clustering Using OWA Operator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018

SuDSlab: Delivering Real‐Time Data on Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)

open access: yesJournal of Flood Risk Management, Volume 19, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Sustainably managing water is a global issue, with rapid land use change, climate change and ageing infrastructure increasing the risk of flooding. To help mitigate against and manage urban flood risk, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), along with Low Impact Development (LID), Sponge Cities and Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD), have been ...

Selecting Multiple Evaluator’s Perception-Oriented Relevant Physical Features of Consumer Goods by Using Fuzzy Data Sensitivity and OWA Operators

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems, 2016
The assessment of goods quality using experts is costly task in addition to their often unavailability. In this paper, we present a new method for ranking physical features of consumer goods according to their relevancy to multiple evaluators’ perception

Ranking the competitiveness of tourist destinations: An analysis using the OWA operator and the SAW method

open access: yesInquietud Empresarial, 2021
The objective of this paper is to rank the competitiveness of tourist destinations based on different aggregation operators, specifically, the ordered weighted average (OWA) operator and the simple additive weighting (SAW) method.
