Axiomatic generalizations of OWA operators [PDF]

open access: yesAdvances in Intelligent Systems Research, 2015
Axiomatic generalizations of OWA operators are introduces and discussed. First, OMA operators based on comonotone modularity are recalled. Then, several kinds of comonotone pseudoadditivity based OWA generalizations are characterized and exemplified. Some of already known OWA generalizations are thus seen from new points of view.

Introducing the Revamped PLI: A Versatile Tool for Efficient Workplace Risk Assessment

open access: yesHuman Factors and Ergonomics in Manufacturing &Service Industries, Volume 35, Issue 4, July 2025.
ABSTRACT Currently, practitioners face the challenge of selecting assessment tools based on self‐report, observational measurements, or direct measurements while considering time and budget constraints. This selection process can be time‐consuming and discouraging for practitioners, potentially deterring risk assessments.

Harmonizing direct and indirect anthropogenic land carbon fluxes indicates a substantial missing sink in the global carbon budget since the early 20th century

open access: yesPLANTS, PEOPLE, PLANET, Volume 7, Issue 4, Page 1123-1136, July 2025.
The global carbon budget provides annual updates to society on the main cause of climate change—CO2 emissions—and quantifies carbon‐uptake ecosystem services provisioned by the biosphere. We show that more consistent assumptions in the estimates of land‐atmosphere carbon exchange results in a global carbon budget that is imbalanced (gains do not equal ...

Unique features of seizure‐induced cardiorespiratory failure in SSKcnj16−/− rats: Implications for sudden unexpected death in epilepsy

open access: yesEpilepsia, Volume 66, Issue 7, Page 2578-2591, July 2025.
Abstract Objective Patients with uncontrolled epilepsy are at high risk for sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP), which likely results from a pathological, seizure‐induced disruption of vital physiological systems. The objective of this study was to characterize seizure‐induced physiological dysfunction leading to death in SSKcnj16−/− rats and ...

The burden of intracranial atherosclerosis on cerebral small vessel disease: A community cohort study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, Volume 12, Issue 6, Page 1187-1200, June 2025.
Abstract Objective Exploring the prevalence and association between intracranial atherosclerosis (ICAS) and cerebral small vessel diseases (CSVD), this study delved beyond the current scope, utilising high‐resolution vessel wall MRI (HRVW‐MRI) to investigate how subtle changes in intracranial atherosclerotic features influence the various burdens of ...

Fekete–Szegö Variations for Some New Classes of Analytic Functions Explained Over Poisson and Borel Distribution Series

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 48, Issue 8, Page 9241-9252, 30 May 2025.
ABSTRACT The motivation of this paper is to explore and generalize Sakaguchi‐type functions, which play a significant role in geometric function theory. In this context, we introduce four new classes of analytic univalent functions: ℑΨ,tb,α,ρ,ℑϑb,α,ρ,ℑΘ,mb,α,ρ$$ {\Im}_{\Psi, t}^{b,\alpha, \rho },\kern0.3em {\Im}_{\vartheta}^{b,\alpha, \rho },\kern0.3em

On Admissible Total Orders for Interval-valued Intuitionistic Fuzzy Membership Degrees

open access: yesFuzzy Information and Engineering, 2016
The linearity contained in the natural order of unit interval [0,1] plays an important role in many concepts and applications of fuzzy theory. Besides, it is very important in concepts like ordered weighted aggregation operators (OWA) and fuzzy decision ...

Color Palette Generation From Digital Images: A Review

open access: yesColor Research &Application, Volume 50, Issue 3, Page 250-265, May/June 2025.
ABSTRACT Color palette is a critical component of art, design, and lots of applications, providing the basis for organizing and utilizing colors to achieve specific objectives. However, generating color palettes from digital images presents unique challenges due to the complexity of colors in images.

Modelo para el análisis estático en grafos difusos basado en indicadores compuestos de centralidad

open access: yesRevista Cubana de Ciencias Informáticas, 2015
Fuzzy graphs have recently grown in popularity for decision support. Finding the most important node in the model has multiple applications. Static analysis in fuzzy graphs is mainly based in only one centrality measure, degree centrality.
