Determinants of improved groundnut variety adoption among farmers in Northern Ghana: a seed system analysis

open access: yesAgriculture & Food Security
Background Despite the release and registration of several groundnut varieties in Ghana, adoption by farmers is low. Farmer-saved seeds have remained the most reliable source of planting material in the groundnut seed system leading to low productivity ...

Unexpected Asymmetric Mn‐Sb Site Mixing and Reentrant Spin‐Glass State of MnSb2Te4

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MnSb2Te4 is an intrinsic magnetic topological insulator. Its properties are extraordinarily sensitive to tiny defects, making structural studies essential for understanding how magnetism and topology work together. This work shows that Mn can be unevenly distributed within the crystal and how that disorder is linked to a newly reported spin‐glass state

Nanoamphizymes: Self‐Assembled Amphiphilic Enzymatic Nanomaterials for High‐Performance Biocatalysis and Biosensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An amphiphilic GOx nanoamphizyme was constructed by covalently introducing hydrophobic PPNI linkers onto GOx, enabling spontaneous self‐assembly into tunable nanoparticles. Mild crosslinking further stabilized the assemblies and enhanced catalytic performance and stability.

Programming Neuromorphic Plasticity Through Ionic and Electronic Coupling in Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Neuromorphic plasticity in OECTs is governed by the post‐stimulus evolution of coupled ionic and electronic states. Semiconductor chemistry and morphology, electrolyte composition and interfaces, and device architecture regulate ion injection, transport, confinement, and release, shifting responses from rapidly relaxing STP to metastable memory and ...

Tax competition and the international distribution of firm ownership : an invariance result [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
How does the international distribution of firm ownership affect the outcomes of tax/subsidy competition for mobile plants? As corporate ownership becomes increasingly globalised, this question becomes increasingly important for policy. We prove a strong

Molecular Bridges for 2D Nanomaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular cross‐linking provides a versatile strategy to engineer interfaces in 2D materials. By tuning the linker backbone, binding mode, and interflake spacing, molecular bridges can regulate charge transport, mechanical integrity, chemical functionality, and processing.
