DETERMINING AMMONIUM OXALATE-EXTRACTABLE Si IN SOILS
Canadian Journal of Soil Science, 1986Determination of oxalate-extractable Si and Al is useful in assessing the degree of accumulation of allophane-like materials in Podzolic soils. Three procedures were tested for determining Si: manual spectrophotometry, automated spectrophotometry and atomic absorption.

Electrical and thermal properties of ammonium and potassium oxalates
Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics, 1995The d.c. electrical conductivity (Σ) and the relative permittivity (ɛ) were accurately measured as a function of temperature in the range 300 < T < 450 K for ammonium oxalate monohydrate (AOX), (NH4)2 C2O4H2O and potassium oxalate monohydrate (POX), K2C2O4H2O.

EPR of Mn2+-doped ammonium oxalate monohydrate
Solid State Communications, 1986Abstract Detailed X-band EPR studies on an Mn2+-doped single crystal of ammonium oxalate monohydrate have been carried out at room, liquid nitrogen and liquid helium temperatures. The spin-Hamiltonian parameters are rigorously estimated using a recently-developed least-squares-fitting technique, especially adapted to electron-nuclear spin coupled ...

The standardization of Ammonium vanadate solutions with Sodium Oxalate .
Analytica Chimica Acta, 1955Abstract The results of a study of the reaction between ammonium m -vanadate and sodium oxalate in strong sulfuric acid solution are given. It has been found that the latter is a suitable and convenient primary standard for solutions of quinquevalent vanadium.

Role of Ammonium Ions in the Formation of Ammonium Uranyl Peroxides and Uranyl Peroxo-oxalates
Crystal Growth & Design, 2015The flexibility of the ammonium ion environment is suitable for inducing the formation of several uranyl peroxides and peroxo-oxalates. For a given concentration of uranium and various oxalate/uranium ratios, by varying the pH with ammonium hydroxide, crystals of eight compounds have been isolated and characterized by X-ray diffraction, in addition to ...

In this study, a strontium sulfate mineral (celestite) was converted to strontium oxalate in solutions containing ammonium oxalate as a reactant. The experiments were carried out under isothermal conditions. The effects of stirring speed, ammonium oxalate concentration, particle size and temperature on the conversion rate were investigated.

Anisotropy of thermal expansion of ammonium and potassium Oxalates
Zeitschrift für Kristallographie - Crystalline Materials, 1974Abstract Thermal expansion tensors αij measured on three ammonium and three potassium Oxalates, (NH4)2C2O4 · H2O, NH4HC2O4. ½ H2O, NH4H3(C2O4)2 · 2H2O, K2C2O4 · H2O, KHC2O4 and KH3(C2O4)2 · 2H2O, at 30°C exhibit a high anisotropy.

Platelet Surface Interaction in Suspensions of Rabbit Blood in Ammonium Oxalate
Scandinavian Journal of Haematology, 1970When suspensions of rabbit blood in ammonium oxalate were rotated, a platelet decrease was found which was of equal magnitude in tubes of glass and plastic and enhanced in siliconized containers. The decrease was dependant on the mechanical force applied and apparently time limited.
