SorCS2 Is Important for Astrocytic Function in Neurovascular Signaling
ABSTRACT Introduction The receptor SorCS2 is involved in the trafficking of membrane receptors and transporters. It has been implicated in brain disorders and has previously been reported to be indispensable for ionotropic glutamatergic neurotransmission in the hippocampus.

Lienhwalides: Unique Tropolone–Maleidride Hybrids from Hypoxylon lienhwacheense
Lienhwalides are novel tropolone–maleidride hybrid molecules unique in nature. Absolute configuration is solved by semisynthetic approaches and X‐ray analysis. Interplay between both lwt and lwm biosynthetic gene clusters is responsible for the production of lienhwalides.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells under high‐fat environment constrain harmful reactive oxygen species (ROS) by enhancing glutathione synthesis though upregulating interferon stimulated gene 15 (ISG15). In this process, upregulated high mobility group A1 (HMGA1) enhances ISG15 transcription, upregulated ISG15 subsequently noncovalently binds with ...

Abstract This study aimed to evaluate the effects of a terracotta drinker and/or water supplementation with ASPRO‐C Plus on the zootechnical performance of broiler chickens reared in a hot environment. A total of 160 Cobb 500 broiler chicks of 15 days old (240.2 ± 39.82 g) were divided into four treatment groups in a 2 x 2 factorial arrangement of ...

Pityrosporum ovale--A Lipophilic Fungus. Thiamin and Oxaloacetic Acid as Growth Factors
Summary and ConclusionsThiamin when added to a basal medium containing KH2PO4, MgSO4 and with asparagin or NH4Cl causes an increase in the growth of Pityrosporum ovale. With asparagin the increase is much greater than with NH4Cl. However, if ethyl oxalacetate replaces the thiamin, growth in the NH4Cl medium is just about equal to that in the asparagin ...
