Ecotoxicological impact of oxamyl on the abundance and diversity of bacterial communities in an agricultural soil adapted to enhanced degradation

open access: yes, 2018
Prod 2018-283b EA BIOME INRAInternational audiencePesticides are largely applied to crops and end up on soils where they may affect non-target soil microorgan-isms involved in important ecosystem functions.

Determination of residues of oxamyl in crops and soils by gas-liquid chromatography

open access: yesThe Analyst, 1976
A method is described for the determination of oxamyl residues in crops and soils by gas-liquid chromatography. Oxamyl is extracted with dichloromethane or acetone -dichloromethane and is separated from interfering co-extractives by chromatography on a Florisil column.

Efficacy of oxamyl against Heterodera schachtii on cabbage.

open access: yesJournal of nematology, 2010
The efficacy of oxamyl in controlling Heterodera schachtii on cabbage was determined by applying various contbinations of soil drenches at 6.7 kg (a.i.)/ha and foliar sprays at 0.04 kg (a.i.)/100 liters of water to cabbage seedlings. Pretransplant drenches provided some control of H. schachtii over a 13-week period.

Eco-Friendly Management of Root Lesion Nematodes Using Volatile Allelochemicals

open access: yesAgronomy
Root lesion nematodes (RLNs) are major plant parasites causing significant global yield losses in a wide range of crops. Current management strategies largely depend on synthetic nematicides, which raise environmental and human health concerns due to ...

Distribution and emission of oxamyl in a rockwool cultivation system with open drainage of the nutrient solution

open access: yes, 1995
On a 1.8 ha eggplant nursery with open drainage of the excess of nutrient solution the distribution of oxamyl was measured after it had been added to the nutrient solution.

Pesticide behaviour in pumice and rockwool growth media; adsorption and transformation of metalaxyl, oxamyl and carbendazim

open access: yes, 1997
Interactions of pesticides with substrates were studied. The adsorption of metalaxyl, oxamyl and carbendazim on unused pumice and rock-wool is much weaker than that on soils.

Dissipation rate study and pre-harvest intervals calculation of imidacloprid and oxamyl in exported Egyptian green beans and chili peppers after pestigation treatment

open access: yes, 2018
Two QuEChERS-based methods were developed and validated, using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometric detection, in order to accurately determine residues of imidacloprid and oxamyl in green beans and chili peppers after treatment via irrigation
