From Lab to Market: Paper‐Based CRISPR Diagnostics and Commercialization Pathways

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
Paper‐based CRISPR diagnostics represents one of the most widely commercialized CRISPR assay technologies, yet challenges remain for broader point‐of‐care use. Abstract The global health landscape is continually challenged by infectious diseases that can swiftly escalate into pandemics, underscoring the need for rapid, accurate, and cost‐effective ...

Insect‐Microbe‐Based Laccase: Untapped Natural Resource for Industrial and Biotechnological Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
The insect‐microbe interplay fulfills a key ecological role involving the degradation of ligninocellulose biomass. This is coordinated by the secretion of different kinds of proteins, of which ligninolytic enzymes, such as laccases (Lacs), are of prime importance.

NOX2 Contributes to High‐Frequency Outer Hair Cell Vulnerability in the Cochlea

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study first identifies NOX2 as a differentially expressed gene related to oxidative damage in the apical and basal turns through single‐cell RNA sequencing. NOX2 gene knockout mitigates OHCs damage caused by neomycin and noise and enhances Nrf2 expression and nuclear translocation.

Tryptophan Metabolite Indole‐3‐Aldehyde Induces AhR and c‐MYC Degradation to Promote Tumor Immunogenicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tryptophan metabolite Indole‐3‐aldehyde (I3A) downregulates cytosolic AhR and p‐ERK/c‐MYC proteins, together enhancing STAT3 phosphorylation and tumor immunogenicity. Overexpression of the Trp metabolic enzyme interleukin‐4‐induced gene‐1 (IL4I1) in tumor cells increases intracellular levels of I3A and enhances tumor immunogenicity.
