Oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane and propane on CuTh oxide catalysts
Reaction Kinetics & Catalysis Letters, 1994CuThO oxides prepared with different atomic ratios Cu/Th have been tested in the oxidative dehydrogenation of ethane and propane. These catalysts are active and selective in the formation of ethene and propene, but the activity and selectivity change with the nature of the alkane.

Kinetics of Propane Oxidative Dehydrogenation to Propylene
Petroleum Science and Technology, 2005Abstract: The reaction mechanism of propane includes dehydrogenation, oxidative dehydrogenation by applying oxygen and carbon dioxide as oxidative resource, catalyst, catalytic method, kinetics, and so on. This study introduces the reaction system of propane oxidative dehydrogenation in detail.

Propane dehydrogenation to propylene on oxidized carbon black
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2020The effect of mechanical activation (MA) on the change in the functional composition of the surface of commercial high-structural carbon black P399 was studied. It was found that after MA of carbon black for 3 min with the acceleration of 100g, the number of oxygen-containing groups on the carbon surface increases by more than 2 times.

Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane on V2O5/ZrO2 Catalyst
Catalysis Letters, 2004The performance of zirconia supported vanadia catalyst has been investigated for the oxidative dehydrogenation of propane. Vanadia loading was varied from 1.6 to 22.7 wt%, both below and well above monolayer coverage. The turnover frequency was highest for the catalyst with a vanadia surface density of 5 VO x /nm2. The

Quantum Chemical Study of Mechanisms for Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane on Vanadium Oxide
The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2006We have carried out a hybrid density functional study of mechanisms for oxidative dehydrogenation of propane on the (010) surface of V2O5. The surface was modeled using both vanadium oxide clusters and a periodic slab. We have investigated a Mars-van Krevelen mechanism that involves stepwise adsorption of the propane at an oxygen site followed by ...

Propylene effect on propane dehydrogenation in oxidative ammonolysis
Reaction Kinetics & Catalysis Letters, 1991Effect of propylene on the step of propane dehydrogenation to propylene in oxidative ammonolysis of propane to acrylonitrile has been studied. It is shown that in this reaction, besides catalytic propylene formation, a non-catalytic process also takes place.

Short contact time oxidative dehydrogenation of propane
Catalysis Today, 2001Abstract Short contact time oxidative dehydrogenation of propane has been investigated over a Pt/10%Rh gauze catalyst and a catalyst consisting of VMgO supported on a monolithic substrate. The main focus has been on obtaining information about the roles of homogeneous and heterogeneous reactions by comparing the behavior of the two catalysts with ...

Oxidative Dehydrogenation of Propane on Large-Pore Zeolites
1998Transformation of low molecular weight alkanes to alkenes and aromatics via oxidative and non-oxidative routes presents a major challenge since the implementation of the “Cyclar” process. Catalysts containing ZSM-5 zeolite modified with Ga or Zn species were investigated widely for this purpose [1]. Recently other zeolites (faujasite, ferrierite, Beta)
