Optimal Design of a Trickle Bed Reactor for Light Fuel Oxidative Desulfurization based on Experiments and Modelling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
YesIn this work, the performance of oxidative desulfurization (ODS) of dibenzothiophene (DBT) in light gas oil (LGO) is evaluated with a homemade manganese oxide (MnO2/γ-Al2O3) catalyst.

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Ultrasonic desulfurization of amphiphilic magnetic-Janus nanosheets in oil-water mixture system

open access: yesUltrasonics Sonochemistry, 2021
Fe3O4 was obtained by reacting FeCl2 and FeCl3 with polyethylene glycol, and labeled onto a amphiphilic Janus nanosheet. It was confirmed by infrared spectroscopy, SEM, AFM and EDS that the Fe3O4 nanoparticles changed from hydrophilic to amphiphilic. The

Chemical Upcycling of Polyphenylene Sulfide at Room Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Poly(phenylene sulfide) (PPS) is a semi‐crystalline super engineering plastic with exceptional properties. An iron‐photocatalyzed strategy is reported for chemical upcycling of PPS plastics at room temperature using 1,2‐dichloroethane. The method demonstrates remarkable efficiency across diverse PPS resins and post‐consumer composites, even within ...
