Study on Improving Corrosion Resistance of Tantalum Coating by Anodic Oxidation
Tantalum (Ta) coatings have been widely used as a corrosion-resistant material in the aerospace, weapon equipment, and nuclear industries. However, the widespread use of these coatings is hindered mainly by selective corrosion.

Graphene Oxide Sheets Combine into Conductive Coatings by Direct Oxidative Electropolymerization
New coatings are obtained when graphene oxide is further oxidized at moderate anodic potentials (≤~1.3 V vs. Ag/AgCl). Based on a variety of spectroscopic and electrochemical observations, the coatings are attributed to the direct electropolymerization ...

Conformal oxide coating of carbon nanotubes [PDF]
The International Roadmap for Ferroelectric Memories requires three-dimensional integration of high-dielectric materials onto metal interconnects or bottom electrodes by 2010. Here, we demonstrate the possibility of conformally coating carbon nanotubes with high-dielectric oxide as a first step toward ultrahigh integration density of three-dimensional ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.
