In this work, for the preparation of AlOOH/CuO/Cu composite nanoparticles, nanoparticles based on Al, Cu, their compounds (Cu2Al, Cu9Al4, Cu4Al, CuAl ) And AlN were first obtained and characterized. The regularities of the oxidation of Al/ AlN/Cu nanoparticles in distilled water have been investigated.

Electroexplosive Al/AlN nanopowder is used to synthesize low-dimensional particles of aluminum oxide and hydroxide phases with different shape, size, phase composition, and textural characteristics. It is shown that various conditions of production allow a synthesis of agglomerates of crumpled pseudoboehmite nanosheets, boehmite nanoplatelets, and ...

New nanostructured Al matrix composite Al-Al2O3 with homogeneous distribution of oxide particles was fabricated by magnetic pulsed compaction of partially oxidized Al nanopowders preheated up to 400-500°C in vacuum. The particles of starting powders with the mean sizes of 50-200 nm represent the grains of metal aluminum covered with the shells from ...

AbstractThe direct synthesis of Al2O3/SiC nanopowders from the parent oxides Al2O3 and SiO2 through mullite carbothermal reduction as intermediate phase has been investigated. The effect of the amount of excess stoichiometric carbon (active charcoal, AC) as sole carbon source on the microstructure evolution has been studied.
