The oxygen ion conductivity of Lu doped ceria
Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 2020The oxygen ion conductivity of polycrystalline samples of Lu doped ceria is studied using impedance spectroscopy. Lutetium doped ceria is of particular interest as Lu has a similar ionic radius as the host cation Ce. The change of the ionic conductivity as a function of the Lu dopant fraction is investigated in detail revealing a similar behavior as Sm

Oxygen-ion conductivity in BagIn6O17
Materials Research Bulletin, 1990Tetragonal (I4/mmm) BagIn6O17 is an oxygen-deficient intergrowth of BaO rocksalt (001) planes and oxygen-deficient 3 BaInO2.5 perovskite-type layers with a = b= 4.201(6) A and c = 30.48(4) A. An oxygen concentration cell and a.c.-impedance data over the temperature range 200 < T < 950°C give a predominantly oxide-ion conductivity with an activation ...

Oxygen ion conductivity of hexagonal La2W1.25O6.75
Materials Letters, 1999Abstract Mixed oxygen ionic and electronic conduction was found for hexagonal lanthanum–tungsten oxide, La 2 W 1.25 O 6.75 , at temperatures of 900–1450 K. In atmospheric air, the partial ionic conductivity was established to prevail electronic conductivity and to be 1.3×10 −4 S/cm at 1170 K.

Solid electrolytes with oxygen ion conduction
Solid State Ionics, 1984Abstract Oxygen ion conductors constitute an important class of solid electrolytes and have been extensively studied from scientific and technological standpoint. Most of the oxygen ion conductors (eg. those based on ZrO2, ThO2, CeO2 and Bi2O3) have a perfect or distorted fluorite type structure.
