Oxygen consumption of rats with broad intestinal resection

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research, 2000
The study was performed to investigate possible alterations in oxygen consumption in an animal model with broad intestinal resection. Oxygen consumption and the thermal effect of a short meal were measured in rats subjected to short bowel syndrome.

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

CO/R enhances oxygen consumption.

open access: yes, 2018
(A-D) Astrocytes were subjected to Ru/R or CO/R and further incubated with or without 0.5 μM Antimycin A (AMA), 2 mM EGTA, 10 μM Nifedipine, or 10 μM Compound C (Comp C) for 4 h. UT indicates untreated control cells. (A-B) Mitochondria oxygen consumption

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Oxygen consumption and inorganic nutrient fluxes of deep-water hexactinellid and demosponges from New Zealand collected during SONNE cruise SO254

open access: yes
During R/V Sonne cruise SO254 around New Zealand (January-February 2017), deep-sea sponges were incubated in-situ and ex-situ to measure oxygen consumption, inorganic nutrient fluxes, bacterial and phospholipid-derived fatty acid (PLFA) composition ...

Oxygen‐Tunnel Indium Tin Oxide Vertical Channel Transistors with Enhanced Current Density and Reliability for Monolithic 3D Compute‐In‐Memory Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Oxygen‐tunnel (OT) indium tin oxide (ITO) vertical channel transistors (VCTs) enable reliable, high‐density gain‐cell memory for monolithic 3D integration. A sandwiched SiN/SiO2/SiN OT stack selectively regulates oxygen transport, suppressing parasitic electrode oxidation while stabilizing channel oxygen vacancies, thereby suppressing carrier injection
