Transparent UV‐Curable Self‐Sanitizing Coatings Applicable to Diverse Surfaces and High‐Touch Screens to Mitigate Deadly Pathogen Transmission

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Development of a transparent, self‐sanitizing antimicrobial coating technology applicable to a wide range of materials and surfaces‐including touchscreens, transparent substrates, and metal, plastic, and glass‐regardless of pathogen type. The spray‐coated, UV‐cross‐linked imidazole‐based quaternary ammonium chloride materials provide broad‐spectrum ...

Arterial-alveolar oxygen partial pressure ratio

Critical Care Medicine, 1986
The relationship between the arterial-alveolar oxygen partial pressure ratio (PaO2/PAO2) and different fractions of inspired oxygen (FIO2) was studied using a bicompartmental computer model. PaO2/PAO2 was found to be less stable than in previous clinical works probably because the venous admixture varied with changes in the FIO2.

Transcutaneous partial pressure of oxygen after surgical wounds

Vascular Medicine, 2004
Transcutaneous partial pressure of oxygen (TcPO2) predicts wound healing in critical ischemia. However, no studies have controlled for the effect of wounds on TcPO2. In this study, in 24 hip or knee arthroplasty cases without vascular disease, TcPO2 was measured preoperatively at the incision site, contralaterally, and at a reference site on the chest

An oxygen partial pressure sensor

Medical Electronics & Biological Engineering, 1963
The oxygen partial pressure of the gas mixture man breathes is an important measurement. A sensor is described which makes use of the reaction of oxygen with hydrogen in the presence of catalytic platinum to produce water and electrical energy. The voltage output is a direct function of the oxygen partial pressure.

Plateau Waves of Intracranial Pressure and Partial Pressure of Cerebral Oxygen

2016
This study investigates 55 intracranial pressure (ICP) plateau waves recorded in 20 patients after severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) with a focus on a moving correlation coefficient between mean arterial pressure (ABP) and ICP, called PRx, which serves as a marker of cerebrovascular reactivity, and a moving correlation coefficient between ABP and ...

Oxygen partial pressures of MnZn ferrites

Physica Status Solidi (a), 1973
Oxygen partial pressure equilibria of MnZn ferrites are determined by thermogravimetry for compositions of 51 and 53 mol% Fe2O3 with different Mn, Zn proportions. The temperature ranges from 900 to 1400°C and the atmosphere varies from 0.001 to 100% O2.
