Dry Bio-Decontamination Process in Reduced-Pressure O2 Plasma
The main objective of this work was to fully understand the bio-decontamination process in a reduced-pressure oxygen plasma. Gram-negative Escherichia coli species was chosen as the target microorganism in this test.

Enhanced Strength and Corrosion Resistance of Ti‐13Nb‐12Ta‐10Zr‐4Sn Alloy by Aging Treatment
This work systematically investigates the effect of aging treatment on mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of vacuum arc‐melted Ti‐13Nb‐12Ta‐10Zr‐4Sn alloy. Owing to the increased α″ martensite, strength and corrosion resistance were significantly enhanced by aging treatment.

Preparation and electrical studies on pure and oxygen plasma treated polyvinyl alcohol films
In the present work, pure polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) film was prepared by solution-casting method. The smooth and uniform surface of pure PVA films was treated by oxygen plasma with a power of 30 W and by varying time.

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

Si‐doped AlCoCrFeNi high‐entropy alloys are synthesized by mechanical alloying to reveal the effect of Si content and milling time on phase evolution, microstructural refinement, and tribological behavior. A transition from FCC to BCC structure, significant grain refinement, and enhanced hardness and wear resistance are achieved, with the 4 at% Si ...

Deep oxidation of aluminum by a DC oxygen plasma
A novel way of oxidising aluminum using a DC oxygen plasma is described. The oxidation is carried out with a pressure of ∼0.1 bar, an electrical current lower than 3 mA, and a working distance between the electrodes of the order of 1 cm. The pressure is seen to have a stronger influence on the results than the working distance.
