An Amygdala‐hippocampus Circuit for Endocannabinoid Modulation of Anxiety Avoidance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study employs three synapse‐specific endocannabinoids (eCB) probes to monitor dynamic eCB release, activate CB1Rs and knockdown 2‐AG biosynthesis enzymes in glutamatergic anterior basolateral amygdala ‐ ventral hippocampus (aBLA–vHPC) circuit. At aBLA–vHPC circuits, activation of CB1Rs reduce anxiety avoidance, and knockdown of eCB biosynthesis ...

Upper Limb Motor Function Rehabilitation System Leveraging Pressure‐Sensitive Intent Recognition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel upper limb rehabilitation system for stroke patients combines liquid metal elastomer sensors with functional electrical stimulation (FES). By automatically adjusting stimulation intensity based on real‐time muscle force signals, the system enhances wrist movement capability (14° to 47° elevation) and aids neural recovery through heightened ...

Pulsed Laser Synthesis of Carbon Nanostructures from Organic Molecular Liquids: Structure, Kinetics and Photophysical Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The non‐focused nanosecond pulsed laser irradiation of aromatic liquids produces amorphous carbon nanodots (CNDs) or curved‐graphene quantum dots (c‐GQDs) by surface‐catalyzed 0‐order reactions under kinetic control. C hybridization partially changes from sp2 to sp3. O‐based groups passivate the surface.

Dual‐Ionic Weakly Solvating Electrolyte Design Enables Efficient Fast‐Cycling of High‐Voltage Anion Shuttle Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A dual‐ionic weakly solvating electrolyte is developed to simultaneously regulate cation and anion transport in sodium‐based anion shuttle batteries. Functionalized nano‐graphene oxide additives reshape solvation environments, enabling high‐rate performance and long‐term stability.
