Impact of the GouM transporter on secondary metabolism activation and production yield in Streptomyces noursei strain CK‐15

Overexpression of the gouM transporter gene in Streptomyces noursei CK‐15 enhances gougerotin production by 114% and activates silent biosynthetic gene clusters.
