Formation drivers and photochemical effects of ClNO2 in a coastal city of Southeast China [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Chemistry and Physics
Nitryl chloride (ClNO2) is an important precursor of chlorine (Cl) radical, significantly affecting ozone (O3) formation and photochemical oxidation. However, the key drivers of ClNO2 production are not fully understood.

Interfacial Electronic Restructuring in MAPbBr3/rGO Hybrids Enabling Improved Charge Extraction for Efficient Photodetection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
MAPbBr3/rGO hybrids exhibit interfacial electronic restructuring that enhances charge extraction in photodetectors. The incorporation of rGO modifies the surface chemical environment, enhances electron‐dominated transport, and suppresses performance degradation, resulting in higher responsivity, detectivity, and photostability than in pristine MAPbBr3 ...

Reactive aldehyde chemistry explains the missing source of hydroxyl radicals

open access: yesNature Communications
Hydroxyl radicals (OH) determine the tropospheric self-cleansing capacity, thus regulating air quality and climate. However, the state-of-the-art mechanisms still underestimate OH at low nitrogen oxide and high volatile organic compound regimes even ...

Ultrafast (1‐5 sec) Lamination of Perovskite Solar Cells With Self‐Encapsulation Using Rapid Joule Heating

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Halide perovskite solar cells are fabricated with self‐encapsulation by lamination between two glass substrates using rapid Joule heating, yielding a 99% reduction in lamination time compared to previous studies. An 18% efficient cell is laminated in 5 s, demonstrating the potential for scalable manufacturing. ABSTRACT Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are

Measurement report: The variation properties of aerosol hygroscopic growth related to chemical composition during new particle formation days in a coastal city of Southeast China [PDF]

open access: yesAtmospheric Chemistry and Physics
The scattering of solar radiation by aerosol is significantly affected by relative humidity (RH) due to the aerosol hygroscopicity. In order to better understand the characteristics of aerosol scattering hygroscopic growth and its influencing factors ...
