Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

The hull-kernel topology on prime ideals in ordered semigroups

open access: yesOpen Mathematics
The aim of this study is to develop the theory of prime ideals in ordered semigroups. First, to ensure the existence of prime ideals, we study a class of ordered semigroups which will be denoted by SIP{{\mathbb{S}}}_{IP}.

Quasi \(p\)-ideals of quasi BCI-algebras.

open access: yes, 2004
The authors introduce the notion of quasi \(p\)-ideals of quasi BCI-algebras and obtain characterizations of quasi \(p\)-ideals of the set of all fuzzy points in BCI-algebras. Using special chains of reals, the authors determine the number of non-equivalent fuzzy \(p\)-ideals of some types of BCI-algebras and give a method of computation of fuzzy \(p\)-

Tumor mutational burden as a determinant of metastatic dissemination patterns

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study performed a comprehensive analysis of genomic data to elucidate whether metastasis in certain organs share genetic characteristics regardless of cancer type. No robust mutational patterns were identified across different metastatic locations and cancer types.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Graded Betti numbers of ideals with linear quotient

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2008
In this paper we show that every ideal with linear quotients is componentwise linear. We also generalize the Eliahou-Kervaire formula for graded Betti numbers of stable ideals to homogeneous ideals with linear quotients.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.
