Photo-Induced Unpinning of Fermi Level in WO3
Atomic force and high resolution scanning tunneling analyses were carried out onnanostructured WO3 films. It turned out that the band gap measured by scanning tunnelingspectroscopy at surface is lower than the band gap reported in the literature.

Abstract Calderas often experience extended periods of unrest that are challenging to relate to a magmatic or hydrothermal origin, making it crucial to assemble a clear picture of these dynamics. Since 2005, Campi Flegrei caldera (Italy) has experienced accelerating ground uplift, seismicity rates, and degassing.

The shallow magma chamber of Stromboli Volcano (Italy)
Abstract In this work, we integrate artificial and natural seismic sources data to obtain high‐resolution images of the shallow inner structure of Stromboli Volcano. Overall, we used a total of 21,953 P readings from an active seismic experiment and an additional 2731 P and 992 S readings deriving from 269 local events.

Multi‐Scale Soil Salinization Dynamics From Global to Pore Scale: A Review
Abstract Soil salinization refers to the accumulation of water‐soluble salts in the upper part of the soil profile. Excessive levels of soil salinity affects crop production, soil health, and ecosystem functioning. This phenomenon threatens agriculture, food security, soil stability, and fertility leading to land degradation and loss of essential soil ...

Error Analysis and Adaptive‐Robust Control of a 6‐DoF Parallel Robot with Ball‐Screw Drive Actuators
Parallel kinematic machines (PKMs) are commonly used for tasks that require high precision and stiffness. In this sense, the rigidity of the drive system of the robot, which is composed of actuators and transmissions, plays a fundamental role. In this paper, ball‐screw drive actuators are considered and a 6‐degree of freedom (DoF) parallel robot with ...

AFLP molecular characterizations of some Saccobolus species (Ascomycota, Pezizales) [PDF]
Amplified restriction fragment length polymorphisms (AFLP) were used to assess the genetic diversity among species and isolates of the genus Saccobolus. Monosporic strains of five Saccobolus species were used throughout.

Abstract Open‐vent volcanoes continuously emit magmatic products and frequently feature multiple adjacent craters. Temporal shifts of thermal emissions between craters are especially detectable by InfraRed satellites. Here, SENTINEL‐2 and LANDSAT‐8/9 Short Wave InfraRed (SWIR) high‐spatial resolution satellite data, are combined to investigate 10 years
