Hepatic changes in P. falciparum malaria.

Liver function tests were performed in 165 hospitalized patients suffering from P. falciparum malaria with complications. Serum bilirubin was found increased in 33 patients, and 22 of them had unconjugated hyperbilirubinaemia.
