N400 and P600 Effect of Chinese Words Recognition

NeuroQuantology, 2017
Word recognition is an important part of the processing in reading comprehension. N400 component is generally considered as semantic index of word processing, and P600 component is used to interpret syntactic processing. But the discovery of “Semantic P600” effect prompts people to interpret the meaning of P600 again.

Dissociating retrieval interference and reanalysis in the P600 during sentence comprehension

Psychophysiology, 2016
Abstract We investigated the relative independence of two key processes in language comprehension, as reflected in the P600 ERP component. Numerous studies have linked the P600 to sentence‐ or message‐level reanalysis; however, much research has shown that skilled, cue‐based memory retrieval operations are also ...

Evocirani potencijali, sintaktičko oskvrnjivanje i P600

Neurologia Croatica. Supplement, 2004

Implication of N400 and P600 waves in the Linguistic Code Change in Monolinguals and Bilinguals

2018 40th Annual International Conference of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBC), 2018
There is evidence of the importance of N400 and P600 waves in linguistic processes, theses brain waves are related to syntax. This work proposes to evaluate learning process through the analysis of responses generated when formulation of word is requested, an artificial grammar test (AGT) is developed and N400 and P600 peaks are taken as indicators of ...

Sentence Processing in Traumatic Brain Injury: Evidence From the P600

Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research, 2016
Purpose Sentence processing can be affected following a traumatic brain injury (TBI) due to linguistic or cognitive deficits. Language-related event-related potentials (ERPs), particularly the P600, have not been described in individuals with TBI history.

The Coding Brain: P600 Effects Elicited by the Visual Programming Language ScratchJr

In recent years, there is a growing emphasis on early childhood coding education to equip students with essential skills for an increasingly technical society. While emerging research has investigated how text-based programming languages are processed in the adult brain, the neural mechanisms underlying early childhood visual programming languages like
