High-Temperature Mechanical Properties of P91 Weld Metal
Materials Performance and Characterization, 2017Abstract Increasing temperature is one of the key factors for improving the efficiency of steam power plants. Important metallurgical phenomena are activated at such high temperatures and creep resistance becomes a driving criterion for the material selection.

P91 Post-operative pain in neurosurgery
Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry, 2019ObjectivesAre the analgesic guidelines for those neurosurgical operations associated with major and complex major pain consistently followed? Is there a correlation between adherence and post-operative pain?DesignPatients undergoing spinal surgery and foramen magnum decompressions were visited on the first post-operative day (D1).

Residual stresses in P91 steel electron beam welds
Science and Technology of Welding and Joining, 2013This paper describes the characterisation of residual stress in electron beam welded P91 ferritic–martensitic steel plates (9 mm thick) by neutron diffraction and contour measurement methods. The novelty of the work lies in revealing the residual stress profile at a fine length scale associated with a ∼1 mm wide fusion zone.

Thermomechanical Cyclic Properties of P91 Steel
2019The paper presents the results of low-cycle fatigue tests on P91 steel specimens, carried out under constant strain and constant stress conditions, in several test temperatures. The analysis of the experimental data indicates the influence of fatigue testing conditions on the fatigue life predictions based on the Ramberg-Osgood relationship, while the ...

Tensile work hardening behaviour of P91 steel
Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2011Abstract The variation of instantaneous work hardening rate ( θ ) with plastic strain rate ( e ˙ p ) for P91 steel indicated that θ – e ˙ p plots can be represented by a single master curve for the temperature range 300–873 K.

Heterogeneous Welded Joints (T23-T92; 15CH1M1F-P91)
Key Engineering Materials, 2015The use of new construction materials is increasingly on demand for the construction of new power plants, and for the modernization of existing plants that are at the end of their service life span. Steels such as type P/T92 (modified martensitic 9-12% Cr), and low-alloy steels derived from modified steel 2.5Cr1Mo (ASTM marked P/T23) are considered ...

Finite-element creep damage analyses of P91 pipes
International Journal of Pressure Vessels and Piping, 2006Abstract In this paper, uniaxial and notched bar creep test data are used to establish the material behaviour models for two P91 steels of differing strength. The two steels are denoted here as Bar 257 steel, tested at 650 °C and A-369 steel, tested at 625 °C.
