High Temperature Deformation Behavior of P92 Steel
Transactions of the Indian Institute of Metals, 2015The ferritic-martensitic steels are superior steels based on the potential properties that they possess; especially, the elevated temperature properties. Among these ferritic-martensitic steels, Cr–Mo–W steel is a candidate structural material for high temperature applications such as future advanced reactors and aerospace applications.

CREEP BEHAVIOR AND LIFE EVALUATION OF AGED P92 STEEL
International Journal of Modern Physics B, 2006Creep strength and life of material is closely related with the microstructural characteristics. Components used under creep condition for long time are unable to maintain the stability of microstructure and experience degradation of material. From this viewpoint, it is necessary for safety and residual life of power plant to investigate creep ...

Microstructure and creep behaviour of P92 steel after HPT
Materials Science and Engineering: A, 2018Abstract The influence of the application of severe plastic deformation on microstructure changes and creep deformation behaviour was investigated in P92 creep-resistant pipe steel. P92 steel in its as-received state, with a microstructure typical of tempered martensite, was subjected to high-pressure torsion at room temperature.

Type IV cracking of P92 steel welded joint used in China power plants
Materials at High TemperatureP92 (9Cr-1.8W–0.5Mo-NbV) martensite steel is widely used in high-temperature pipes of ultra-supercritical boilers in China. During high-temperature operation, microstructural evolution of the heat affected zone (HAZ) across welded joint leads to type IV ...
