Convoluted filtering for process cycle modeling

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 5, Issue 11, November 2023., 2023
Convoluted model‐filtering technique was developed and exploited to build and train the Convoluted Filter (CoFi) artifacts for Fe‐based alloy heat treatment cycles, to filter out deep learning models that change the surrogate microstructure state after the heat treatment at ambient conditions.

Research on the Estimation Model of Energy Consumption Capacity for Reinforced Concrete Components with Axial Force

open access: yesAdvances in Civil Engineering, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
The research group utilized the estimation model of energy consumption capacity for reinforced concrete components without axial force to assess the energy consumption capacity of 92‐reinforced concrete components from the PEER database, which were subjected to axial force and bending.

Manipulating the microbiome alters regenerative outcomes in Xenopus laevis tadpoles via lipopolysaccharide signalling

open access: yesWound Repair and Regeneration, Volume 30, Issue 6, Page 636-651, November/December 2022., 2022
Abstract Xenopus laevis tadpoles can regenerate functional tails, containing the spinal cord, notochord, muscle, fin, blood vessels and nerves, except for a brief refractory period at around 1 week of age. At this stage, amputation of the tadpole's tail may either result in scarless wound healing or the activation of a regeneration programme, which ...

Surface layer microstructure evolution during interdiffusion annealing of chromium electroplated iron substrates Oberflächennahe Gefügeentwicklung während der Interdiffusionsglühung von Chrom‐galvanisiertem Eisen

open access: yesMaterialwissenschaft und Werkstofftechnik, Volume 53, Issue 2, Page 190-200, February 2022., 2022
Investigations on interdiffusion behaviour of electroplated chromium layers on pure iron substrates reveal a multimodal microstructure evolution. Details of the microstructural changes, like a concentration step formation due to a Cr concentration‐dependent shift of the fcc to bcc phase boundary and the formation of a pore network in the interface area,

Three‐Dimensional Numerical Simulation of Creep Crack Growth Behavior for 316H Steel Using a Stress‐Dependent Model

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Based on detailed three‐dimensional numerical simulation, creep crack growth behavior of C(T) specimen with different thicknesses of 316H steel was predicted using a stress‐dependent creep ductility and strain rate model. Three regions were observed in the relation of creep crack growth rate versus fracture parameter C∗.

Fatigue–Creep Interaction of P92 Steel and Modified Constitutive Modelling for Simulation of the Responses

open access: yesMetals, 2020
Fatigue−creep interaction (FCI) responses of P92 steel are investigated experimentally and numerically. A series of isothermal FCI experiments with tensile dwell time ranging from 60 to 600 s were conducted at two temperatures under strain ...

Microstructural Evolution during Thermal Exposure of G115 Steel and Its Influence on Mechanical Properties

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
Microstructural evolution and mechanical property degradation of the newly developed G115 steel during thermal exposure are highly important for the safe power plant operation. In this paper, the microstructural stability and strength as well as impact toughness were investigated after aging at 650°C and 700°C up to 5000 h.

High temperature workability behaviour of a modified P92 steel [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Materials Research, 2011
Abstract The high temperature forming behaviour of a modified P92, type 9 % Cr, steel is studied by means of torsion tests. The data obtained from these tests allowed correlation of the number of turns to failure, a measure of ductility, as a function of strain rate and temperature.

Criss‐crossing autism spectrum disorder and adult neurogenesis

open access: yesJournal of Neurochemistry, Volume 159, Issue 3, Page 452-478, November 2021., 2021
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) comprises a group of neurodevelopmental disorders posing, in varying degree, a life‐long challenge for both patients and caretakers. The impact of adult neurogenesis (AN) on the pathogenesis and development of ASD has not yet been fully cleared.
