Some Carleman-type inequalities in ( p , q ) $(p,q)$ -calculus
In this paper, we construct ( p , q ) $\left (p,q\right )$ -type Jessen’s inequality using the properties of convex functions. On this basis, we generalize the classical Carleman integral-type inequality in ( p , q ) $\left (p,q\right )$ -calculus and ...

Here, a nonlocal nonlinear operator known as the fractional ( p , q ) $(p,q)$ -Laplacian is considered. The existence of a mountain pass solution is proved via critical point theory and variational methods.

Some approximation results on Bleimann-Butzer-Hahn operators defined by (p,q)-integers
In this paper we introduce a generalization of the Bleimann-Butzer-Hahn operators based on (p,q)-integers and obtain Korovkin?s type approximation theorem for these operators. Furthermore, we compute convergence of these operators by using the modulus of continuity.

Disordered but rhythmic—the role of intrinsic protein disorder in eukaryotic circadian timing
Unstructured domains known as intrinsically disordered regions (IDRs) are present in nearly every part of the eukaryotic core circadian oscillator. IDRs enable many diverse inter‐ and intramolecular interactions that support clock function. IDR conformations are highly tunable by post‐translational modifications and environmental conditions, which ...

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

On the convergence of Lupaş (p,q) $(p,q)$-Bernstein operators via contraction principle
The present paper deals with the limit behavior of iterates of Lupaş q- and (p,q) $(p,q)$-Bernstein operators. We obtain the convergence for Lupaş q- and (p,q) $(p,q)$-Bernstein operators by using the contraction principle.

Some approximation properties of new ( p , q ) $( p,q ) $ -analogue of Balázs–Szabados operators
In this paper, a new ( p , q ) $( p,q ) $ -analogue of the Balázs–Szabados operators is defined. Moments up to the fourth order are calculated, and second order and fourth order central moments are estimated.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.
