In this paper, we firstly establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the operator equation A ( x , x ) + B ( x , x ) + C ( x ) + e = x $A(x,x)+ B(x,x)+C(x)+e = x$ , where A and B are two mixed monotone operators, C is a decreasing operator ...

Abstract In this paper, we consider the nonlinear eigenvalue problem: $$\begin{array}{} \displaystyle \begin{cases} {\it\Delta}(|{\it\Delta} u|^{p(x)-2}{\it\Delta} u)= \lambda \frac{|u|^{q(x)-2}u}{{\delta(x)}^{2q(x)}} \;\; \mbox{in}\;\; {\it\Omega}, \\ u\in W_0^{2,p(x)}({\it\Omega}), \end{cases} \end{array}$$ where Ω is a regular bounded domain of ℝN,

Eigenvalue of Fractional Differential Equations with p-Laplacian Operator [PDF]
We investigate the existence of positive solutions for the fractional order eigenvalue problem with p-Laplacian operator -tβ(φp(tαx))(t)=λf(t,x(t)), t∈(0,1), x(0)=0, tαx(0)=0, tγx(1)=∑j=1m-2ajtγx(ξj), where tβ, tα, tγ are the standard Riemann ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Symmetry results for the p(x)-Laplacian equation
We consider the equation and the related Dirichlet problem. For axially symmetric domains we prove that, under suitable assumptions, there exist mountain-pass solutions which exhibit partial symmetry.

Existence and blow-up of weak solutions of a pseudo-parabolic equation with logarithmic nonlinearity
In this paper, we prove the existence of weak solutions of a pseudo-parabolic equation with logarithmic nonlinearity in an interval [ 0 , T ) $[0, T)$ by employing the Galerkin approximation method and compactness arguments.

A maximal theorem for holomorphic semigroups. [PDF]
Let X be a closed linear subspace of the Lebesgue space L^p(Omega ; mu); let -A be an invertible linear operator that is the generator of abounded holomorphic semigroup T_t on X.

Discrete Geometric Homogenisation and Inverse Homogenisation of an Elliptic Operator [PDF]
We show how to parameterise a homogenised conductivity in R² by a scalar function s(x), despite the fact that the conductivity parameter in the related up-scaled elliptic operator is typically tensor valued.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
