On the first eigenvalue for a (p(x),q(x))-Laplacian elliptic system

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2016
In this article, we deal about the first eigenvalue for a nonlinear gradient type elliptic system involving variable exponents growth conditions. Positivity, boundedness and regularity of associated eigenfunctions for auxiliaries systems are established.

Therapeutic Apheresis for Intravenous Methylprednisolone‐Refractory Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Clinical and Radiological Outcomes in a Single‐Center Case Series

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

First-Principles Investigation of Ru- and Pt-Doped TiO2 Brookite Surfaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrochemical Science, 2020
The electronic structures and optical properties of brookite TiO2 (100) and (110) surfaces doped with transition metals (Ru and Pt) have been investigated by first-principles calculations based on the density functional theory, employing generalized ...

NIR‐II Fluorescence imaging for cerebrovascular diseases

open access: yesView, 2021
As the major pipeline for transporting oxygen and nutrients to living tissues, well‐ordered and functional vasculature is vital to maintain the function of organisms. The cerebrovascular disorders induced by acute or chronic diseases, including traumatic

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...
