A Fully 3D‐Printed Packed Absorption Column: Design, Hydrodynamic Performance, and CO2 Benchmarking
ABSTRACT Additive manufacturing enables tailored column internals and structured packings that are difficult to fabricate by conventional methods. While significant progress has been made in the development of additively manufactured packings, no study to date presents a fully 3D‐printed absorption column in which both the shell and internals are ...

Microfibrillar composite containing highly oriented, plasma‐treated PA6 microfibrils embedded within the polymer matrix. ABSTRACT Plasma treatment is often used to alter chemical surface characteristics of fibers or polymers, improving dispersion of components and interfacial adhesion between incompatible constituents in composites.

Etude comparative des propriétés structurales et rhéologiques de nanocomposites à base de PA6 et PA12 en présence de talc synthétique [PDF]
International audienceThe structural and rheological properties of synthetic talc/polyamide (ST/PA) composites, elaborated by simultaneous melt mixing of a PA6 or PA12 matrix and a hydrogel filled with talc, were studied, focusing on the difference ...

Thermal aging hinders the use of powder bed fusion (PBF) for large-scale production. Inefficient waste management in PBF requires mixing 30–50 % virgin powder, while only ∼ 10 % becomes final parts.

Performance of CF/PA12 composite femoral stems
This study presents the microstructural and mechanical behavior of the CF/PA12 composite material developed as well as its biomechanical performance when used for the fabrication of femoral stems. The static tests were performed to evaluate the compressive and flexural modulus as well as the ultimate compressive and bending strength.

The research presented in this article represents a further stage in studies on the strength of components printed using 3D printing technology, specifically FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling). The article presents the results of tensile strength tests on samples printed from PA12 and PA12+CF15 materials, while previous studies by the author focused on ...
