Containerization and the PaaS Cloud

open access: yesIEEE Cloud Computing, 2015
Containerization is widely discussed as a lightweight virtualization solution. Apart from exhibiting benefits over traditional virtual machines in the cloud, containers are especially relevant for platform-as-a-service (PaaS) clouds to manage and orchestrate applications through containers as an application packaging mechanism.

About PaaS security

International Journal of Cloud Computing, 2017
Platform as a service (PaaS) provides middleware resources to cloud customers. As demand for PaaS services increases, so do concerns about the security of PaaS. This paper discusses principal PaaS security and integrity requirements, and vulnerabilities and the corresponding countermeasures.

An economical approach to PaaS

Proceedings of the 50th Annual Southeast Regional Conference, 2012
In this paper, we attempt to create a platform of several services from free single service applications to form a modular infrastructure for a platform as a service (PaaS). The infrastructure simulates the power of cloud computing with the use of software as a service (SaaS) and bypass local client installations.

Investigation of Swelling Behavior of PAA and D-PAA Hydrogels

2020
Series of hydrogels based on polyacrylamide and copolymer dextran-graft-polyacrylamide with various cross-linking density and various molecular weight of dextran component were prepared using N,N′-methylene-bis-acrylamide as cross-linking agent. The comparative equilibrium swelling capacity of synthesized hydrogels was studied.

Verification Test of Cloud PaaS (PaaS-TA) on Microserver

2018
In this paper, we fabricated a modular microserver using low power chip Intel ATOM CPU or ARM based XGEN2 CPU. Cloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) is a promoting software technology in commercial cloud application. PaaS-TA provides a web-based platform management user portal platform, including cloud-based development operating environment management ...

Privacy Enhancing Framework on PaaS

2012 International Conference on Cloud and Service Computing, 2012
Platform as a service (PaaS) is a cloud computing service model that provides a computing platform and a solution stack as an on-demand service, allowing users to create, deploy and control their own cloud services without building and managing their own computing platforms.
