An economical approach to PaaS

In this paper, we attempt to create a platform of several services from free single service applications to form a modular infrastructure for a platform as a service (PaaS). The infrastructure simulates the power of cloud computing with the use of software as a service (SaaS) and bypass local client installations.

Investigation of Swelling Behavior of PAA and D-PAA Hydrogels

Series of hydrogels based on polyacrylamide and copolymer dextran-graft-polyacrylamide with various cross-linking density and various molecular weight of dextran component were prepared using N,N′-methylene-bis-acrylamide as cross-linking agent. The comparative equilibrium swelling capacity of synthesized hydrogels was studied.

Supercapacitor behavior of CuO–PAA hybrid films: Effect of PAA concentration

Abstract The Cu–poly(acrylic) acid (PAA) thin films were deposited at room temperature by a simple and cost effective polymer assisted deposition (PAD) method. The solution containing Cu salt and PAA was spin coated to yield the thin films with desired properties. The Cu–PAA films were annealed at 400 °C in ambient air for 4 h to obtain CuO–PAA phase.
