Cyclic oxidation of cobalt-chromium-aluminum-yttrium and aluminide coatings on IN-100 and VIA alloys in high velocity gases [PDF]
Embedded-alumina-particle aluminide (EAPA) coated and CoCrAlY coated IN-100 and NASA-TRW-VIA specimens were cyclically oxidation tested in a high velocity (approximately Mach 1) gas flame at 1093 C (2000 F).

ABSTRACT Saruq al‐Hadid, located at the edge of the Rub Al‐Khali desert near Dubai's southern border with Abu Dhabi, is among the region's richest archaeological sites. Renowned for its historical role in metallurgy, trade and human habitation, the site was occupied from the Umm an‐Nar period through the post–Iron Age. Despite its significance, much of

Packing Properties Assessment of Cement and Alternative Powders: Artifacts and Protocols
This paper introduces three major recommendations for the assessment of the maximum packing fraction of mineral powders through compressive rheology. First, our results show that a minimum compressive stress is required for the measured solid volume fraction to tend towards a constant jamming fraction.

Abstract Language is a major source of systemic inequities in science, particularly among scholars whose first language is not English. Studies have examined scientists' linguistic practices in specific contexts; few, however, have provided a global analysis of multilingualism in science. Using two major bibliometric databases (OpenAlex and Dimensions),
