The Effect of Store Atmosphere and Product Packaging Towards Consumer Buying Behavior, at Hush Puppies Store Manado [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The behavior of consumer depends on a number of factors and not limited to the services that are provided in retailed stores. Hence marketers use as many approaches as possible, in order to encourage the consumers to approach, buy and stay longer.

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Pendampingan Desain Kemasan Produk Kacang Tanah Barandang untuk UMKM di Nagari Tigo Balai

open access: yesWarta Pengabdian Andalas
When comparing Lawang to Nagari Tigo Balai, the latter exhibits an attractive appearance on product packaging, which is one of the crucial factors in the marketing strategy of micro, small, and medium enterprises (UMKM).

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

TFM: An R package for truncated factor model

open access: yesSoftwareX
The Truncated Factor Model (TFM) is a statistical model for analyzing high-dimensional truncated data, leveraging sparsity and online learning to extract common factors. Its core advantage is efficient modeling of complex data structures with flexible parameter adjustments.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Sustainable Packaging: Factors Influencing Consumers Purchase Intention

open access: yes, 2021
The concept of sustainability is becoming more recurrent and usual in daily conversations, just as many people are beginning to adopt a sustainable lifestyle. The objective of this work is not only to gather concepts related to the definition of sustainable packaging but also to clarify the concept that it represents and exemplify some factors that ...
