Capacity Analysis of LEO Mega-Constellation Networks
This paper proposes a complete network capacity analysis framework for low-earth-orbit (LEO) mega-constellations, where a network capacity estimation problem considering the link packet loss rate is formulated with the support of a time-variant network ...

Effects of Packet Loss on Neural Decoding Effectiveness in Wireless Transmission
Background: In brain–computer interfaces, neural decoding plays a central role in translating neural signals into meaningful physical actions. These signals are transmitted to processors for decoding via wired or wireless channels; however, they are ...

Performance Analysis of Packet Loss Rate and Packet Time Delay of IEEE 802.11 WLANs
The paper investigates the performance of packet loss rate and packet time delay in IEEE 802.11 wireless local area networks (WLANs) with distributed coordination function (DCF). We derive an analytical model to study these performance metrics in terms of the data payload length, wireless channel condition, adopted medium-access-control (MAC) retry ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Performance analysis of the network communication based on AMR speech coding by using NS
Most of the VoIP systems were based on the speech codec with a fixed rate, which maked packet-loss serious, especially for continuous packet-loss.The degradation for the speech quality would be caused by the kind of packet-loss.A network communication ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.
