Procedures for estimating the error in Padé approximation

open access: yes, 1989
Kronrod’s procedure is a method for estimating the error in Gaussian quadrature methods. Padé approximants are formal Gaussian quadrature formulas. In a previous paper, Kronrod’s method was used to obtain estimates of the error in Padé approximation ...

Resonant Vibrational Excitation and Overtone Vibrational Emissions of Nitric Oxide (NO) in Sub‐Auroral Ion Drift (SAID) Region: A Source of STEVE Continuum Emission

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 5, 16 March 2026.
Abstract At elevated electron temperature (Te≥3000°K ${T}_{e}\mathit{\ge }3000\mathit{{}^{\circ}}\mathrm{K}$) inside Sub‐Auroral Ion Drift, resonant vibrational excitation (RVE) increases the vibrationally excited (v≥8 $v\mathit{\ge }8$) nitric oxide (NO) population in the E‐region, which undergoes overtone vibrational emissions (Δv≥8 ${\Delta }v ...

Convergence Rates of Padé and Padé-Type Approximants

open access: yes, 1996
A comparison is made between Padé and Padé-type approximants. LetQnbe thenth orthonormal polynomial with respect to a positive measureμwith compact support inC.

Padé approximant related to inequalities for Gauss lemniscate functions

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
Based on the Padé approximation method, we present new inequalities for Gauss lemniscate functions. We also solve a conjecture on inequalities for Gauss lemniscate functions proposed by Sun and Chen.

Semi-analytical solution of non-homogeneous Duffing oscillator equation by the Padé differential transformation algorithm

open access: yesJournal of Low Frequency Noise, Vibration and Active Control, 2022
The Duffing oscillator equation is one of important equations that model several nonlinear phenomena in science and engineering. The differential transform method (DTM) is applied to obtain the solutions of homogeneous and non-homogeneous Duffing ...

Cyanobacteria as multifunctional bioinputs for sustainable intensification, soil health enhancement, and climate resilience in rice‐based cropping systems

open access: yesAgrosystems, Geosciences &Environment, Volume 9, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Ensuring food security goals through the provision of sustainable energy and food without compromising environmental sustainability is the current requirement amid threats from climate change, uncontrolled global population, and scarcity of natural resources.

Gröbner Bases and Generalized Padé Approximation

open access: yes, 2004
It is shown how to find general multivariate Padé approximation using Gröbner basis technique. This method is more flexible than previous approaches, and several examples are given to illustrate this advantage.

A New Padé Approach to Modeling Wormholes in Dekel‐Zhao Dark Matter Halos

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 538, Issue 3, March 2026.
A matter‐first Padé strategy is introduced to build traversable wormholes from prescribed dark‐matter halos. Rational Padé fits approximately the Dekel–Zhao density and are analytically integrated to obtain a shape function that exactly reproduces the intended matter content, avoiding spurious poles of geometry‐first schemes.

Quasinormal Modes for Coherent Quantum Black Holes

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 74, Issue 3, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Coherent quantum black holes are quantum geometries obtained by means of a mean‐field‐like approach to the gravitational interaction. This procedure attenuates the classical spacetime singularities of general relativity by replacing them with integrable singularities in the quantum‐corrected geometry. After discussing some relevant observables

Cubic Hermite–Padé approximation to the exponential function

open access: yes, 2004
Cubic Hermite–Padé approximation to the exponential function with coefficient polynomials of degree at most m is considered. Explicit formulas are obtained for the coefficient polynomials. An exact asymptotic expression is obtained for the error function
