The pad dressing phenomena of multiple diamond grits: Implications for the design of CMP pad conditioners

open access: yes, 2010
Diamond disks are indispensable for dressing CMP pads. However, due to the poor leveling of diamond tips, only a few percents of diamond grits can penetrate the pad.

Hybrid Metal–Carbon Ink for Printed Stretchable Temperature Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We prepare conductive inks for temperature sensing with silver flakes and carbon or graphite flakes in a silicone elastomer matrix. Silver dominates the temperature‐dependent conductivity, while the carbon filler network ensures the stability of the conductive pathways and retains function under strain.

New CMP pad conditioners with increased number of diamond tips for longer dressing life

open access: yes, 2014
with the relentless progression of Moore's Law toward sub-virus sized (e.g. 28 nm) node of interconnected circuitry (IC), and also the planned debut of 450 mm wafers for 2015, CMP reaches a bottleneck that the polishing of the delicate IC wafers must be ...

Electrical‐Stimulation Hydrogel Electronic Skin for Sustainable Hybrid Biomechanical–Electromagnetic Energy Harvesting and Accelerating Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A hybrid biomechanical–electromagnetic energy‐harvesting e‐skin is developed using a gelatin‐based outer matrix with a zwitterionic conductive inner layer. The e‐skin autonomously generates stable electrical stimulation from daily body motion and ambient electronics, enabling significantly enhanced wound healing bothin vitro and in vivo.
