The pitch angle detector: PADE
IEEE 1989 International Conference on Plasma Science, 1989The PADE analyzer can measure the pitch angle of electrons or ions with respect to the magnetic field in a magnetized plasma. This novel device is formed by two directional energy analyzers, mutually perpendicular to one another and each 4 mm in diameter.

How to compute multivariate Pade approximants
Proceedings of the fifth ACM symposium on Symbolic and algebraic computation - SYMSAC '86, 1986We present here various ways of generalizing the Pade approximation to multivariate functions. To compute them, we use a computer algebra system: REDUCE.

Outlines of Pade Approximation
1983In the first section Pade approximants are defined and some properties are given. The second section deals with their algebraic properties and, in particular, with their connection to orthogonal polynomials and quadrature methods. Recursive schemes for computing sequences of Pade approximants are derived.

Hankel Minors and Pade Approximations
2010Algebraic Pade theory is presented in a complete, brief and clear way as a corollary of one property of a sequence of nonzero leading minors in a semi-infinite Hankel matrix associated with a formal series.
