Early‐life manganese exposure induces behavioral deficits and aberrant hippocampal synaptic remodeling by enhancing microglial phagocytosis in young adult male mice. Mechanistically, manganese promotes Yin Yang 1 (YY1)/triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) signaling through enhanced HIF1α‐mediated transcription and suppressed SMURF2 ...

Recent Advancements Surrounding the Role of the Periaqueductal Gray in Predators and Prey
Recent advances in neural circuitry techniques, like optogenetics and chemogenetics, have allowed for a greater understanding of the periaqueductal gray (PAG) and its importance in predator and prey behaviors.

RCI is associated with functional suppression of oxytocinergic neurons in the PVN. Reduced PVNOXT neuronal activity contributes to altered sympathetic regulation involving the IML–sympathetic chain pathway, accompanied by changes in norepinephrine signaling at the BTI.

An Update on the Molecular Basis of Phosphoantigen Recognition by Vγ9Vδ2 T Cells
About 1–5% of human blood T cells are Vγ9Vδ2 T cells. Their hallmark is the expression of T cell antigen receptors (TCR) whose γ-chains contain a rearrangement of Vγ9 with JP (TRGV9JP or Vγ2Jγ1.2) and are paired with Vδ2 (TRDV2)-containing δ-chains ...

Maternal Hyperglycemia Disrupts Cerebral Cortex Development Through the Foxp1‐Dll1‐Notch Axis
Maternal hyperglycemia disrupts offspring cortical development through a Foxp1–Dll1–Notch signaling axis. In a PGDM mouse model, intrauterine hyperglycemia decreases cortical thickness and perturbs neuronal layering by downregulating Foxp1, which transcriptionally regulates the Notch ligand Dll1.

Disrupted functional connectivity of the periaqueductal gray in chronic low back pain
Chronic low back pain is a common neurological disorder. The periaqueductal gray (PAG) plays a key role in the descending modulation of pain. In this study, we investigated brain resting state PAG functional connectivity (FC) differences between patients

The Effect of Inner Grooved Tubes on the Heat Transfer Performace of Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers of Co2 Heat Pump System [PDF]
In the CO2 heat pump system, Poly alkyl glycol (PAG) oil is commonly used for lubrication of the compressor, while it is reported that the PAG oil has influence on the heat transfer performance due to its immiscibility against CO2 within its working ...

HECTD1 emerges as an upstream amplifier of Th17 metabolic programming by promoting K63‐linked ubiquitination of IGF2BP3 and enhancing HIF‐1α translation. HIF‐1α reciprocally drives HECTD1 transcription, establishing a positive regulatory loop that sustains glycolysis and Th17 differentiation.
