On Roman, Global and Restrained Domination in Graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper, we present new upper bounds for the global domination and Roman domination numbers and also prove that these results are asymptotically best possible.

Total and paired domination stability in prisms

open access: yes, 2023
A set $D$ of vertices in an isolate-free graph is a total dominating set if every vertex is adjacent to a vertex in $D$. If the set $D$ has the additional property that the subgraph induced by $D$ contains a perfect matching, then $D$ is a paired ...

Paired-domination game played in graphs [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Combinatorics and Optimization, 2019
In this paper, we continue the study of the domination game in graphs introduced by Bre{\v{s}}ar, Klav{\v{z}}ar, and Rall [SIAM J. Discrete Math. 24 (2010) 979--991].

The Paired Domination Number of Cubic Graphs

open access: yes, 2020
Let G be a simple undirected graph with no isolated vertex. A paired dominating set of G is a dominating set which induces a subgraph that has a perfect matching. The paired domination number of G, denoted by γpr(G), is the size of its smallest paired dominating set. Goddard and Henning conjectured that γpr(G) {\leq} 4n/7 holds for every graph G with δ(

Total domination versus paired domination [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
A dominating set of a graph G is a vertex subset that any vertex of G either belongs to or is adjacent to. A total dominating set is a dominating set whose induced subgraph does not contain isolated vertices.

Therapeutic Apheresis for Intravenous Methylprednisolone‐Refractory Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Clinical and Radiological Outcomes in a Single‐Center Case Series

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

Γ -Paired dominating graphs of some paths

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
A paired dominating set of a graph G = (V(G),E(G)) is a set D of vertices of G such that every vertex is adjacent to some vertex in D, and the subgraph of G induced by D contains a perfect matching. The upper paired domination number of G, denoted by Γpr(

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
