Convex and isometric domination of (weak) dominating pair graphs [PDF]

open access: yesTheoretical Computer Science, 2018
A set $D$ of vertices in a graph $G$ is a dominating set if every vertex of $G$, which is not in $D$, has a neighbor in $D$. A set of vertices $D$ in $G$ is convex (respectively, isometric), if all vertices in all shortest paths (respectively, all vertices in one of the shortest paths) between any two vertices in $D$ lie in $D$.

Therapeutic Apheresis for Intravenous Methylprednisolone‐Refractory Neuromyelitis Optica Spectrum Disorder: Clinical and Radiological Outcomes in a Single‐Center Case Series

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is a relapsing autoimmune disease of the central nervous system. High‐dose intravenous methylprednisolone (IVMP) is the standard first‐line therapy for acute attacks, although some patients remain refractory.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Performance of binary accelarator system on natural rubber compound

open access: yesMajalah Kulit, Karet, dan Plastik, 2018
Accelerator system provides different response onto the rubber compound, and in turn influences its final properties. Accelerators, such as 2,2'-Dithiobis (benzothiazole) (MBTS), N-Cyclohexylbenzothiazole-2-Sulfenamide (CBS) and diphenyl guanidine (DPG),

Upper paired domination in graphs

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2021
A set $ PD\subseteq V(G) $ in a graph $ G $ is a paired dominating set if every vertex $ v\notin PD $ is adjacent to a vertex in $ PD $ and the subgraph induced by $ PD $ contains a perfect matching.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Γ -Paired dominating graphs of some paths

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
A paired dominating set of a graph G = (V(G),E(G)) is a set D of vertices of G such that every vertex is adjacent to some vertex in D, and the subgraph of G induced by D contains a perfect matching. The upper paired domination number of G, denoted by Γpr(
