Acetoxylation of Propylenewith Metallic Palladium and Palladium Salt Catalysts
活性炭,γ-アルミナを担体として,金属パラジウム触媒およびパラジウム塩触媒によるプロピレンのアセトキシル化反応を行ない,金属パラジウム,パラジウム塩の触媒作用および反応機構の研究を行なった。生成物は,パラジウム塩触媒の場合,アセトン, 酢酸イソプロペニル, 酢酸アリルおよび二酸化炭素であり, 金属パラジウム触媒の場合, 酢酸アリルと二酸化炭素であった。触媒による選択性の違いは,反応中間体がパラジウム塩触媒の場合π-錯体であり,金属パラジウム触媒の場合はπ-アリル錯体によるものと考えられる。アセトンは酢酸イソプロペニルの加水分解反応による逐次反応で生成することが判った。活性炭を担体とした触媒では, 酢酸が燃焼し二酸化炭素になり, 金属パラジウム-γ-アルミナ触媒ではプロピレンが燃焼し二酸化炭素となる。
