Well preserved and taxonomically diverse miospore assemblages have been recovered from the uppermost Devonian and lower Mississippian strata of the Appalachian Basin, Eastern USA. Rock samples were collected from 13 localities in the region, including outcrop and borehole cores from four states; Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
