Evaporation from Different Types of Pans
Transactions of the American Society of Civil Engineers, 1934The rate of evaporation from different types of pans varies widely and before the evaporation data can be used in estimating the loss from large bodies of water, it is necessary to know the ratio b...

Pan Evaporation, Potential and Actual Evapotranspiration
Journal of Applied Meteorology, 1967Abstract A formula for estimating the evapotranspiration rate from temperature and relative humidity data is given. Results of some tests of the accuracy of the equation indicate that it is better than other equations based on a similar number of variables.

Water level control in evaporation pans
Journal of Geophysical Research, 1960An attempt has been made to develop a fixed-water-level pan evaporimeter utilizing the Mariotte principle and flanged overflow nozzles for rejecting rain. Owing to temperature effects, frictional losses in conduits, and surface tension effects, the Mariotte principle proved to be only partially satisfactory. The overflow nozzles showed curious meniscus

Consumptive Use Derived from Evaporation Pan Data
Journal of the Irrigation and Drainage Division, 1968Evapotranspiration measurements or computations provide basic information for the computation of irrigation requirements. Unfortunately, in underdeveloped or developing countries both evapotranspiration and weather data are usually of limited availability and for some proposed project areas nonexistent.

Pan Evaporation Estimation Using Artificial Neural Network
2018 International Conference on Advances in Computing and Communication Engineering (ICACCE), 2018Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model's performance was investigated on evaporation estimation at GOolbasI region. For this aim monthly mean temperature, monthly total rainfall and monthly mean evaporation data of Golbaol were used. 213 data set were used for the modeling.
